POSITION SUMMARY:

Customizes recruitment efforts to ensure the organization consistently hires excellent applicants and fosters the organization's mission by delivering the integrated recruitment process. Acts as the recruitment point-of-contact for the Talent Acquisition Team and manages relationships with hiring managers, talent advisors, sourcing advisors and talent acquisition coordinators.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Minimum Work Experience

  • Two years of talent acquisition experience: Preferred

Required Licenses

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP): Preferred


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Delivers integrated recruitment services and consults with hiring managers to identify position needs. Develops sourcing strategies, screens, interviews and recommends candidates for employment. Communicates wage evaluation results and makes employment offers. Brings Sourcing and Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordination resources into the process at the right time. Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Builds talent pipelines through deepening community and academic institution relationships, job fair participation, promotional material development and social media tools. Recommends improvements and new approaches. Works on problems of moderate to diverse scope requiring some interpretation of policies and guidelines. Applies working knowledge of the techniques, principles, theories and concepts of the discipline, staff, technologies, services, and practices to complete routine and non-routine assignments.
  • Uses various information system tools to manage the integrated recruitment process, accurately entering data and generating reports. Provides quality report analysis to support actionable decision making. Instructions not needed for routine work; detailed instructions given for new assignments. Prioritizes daily activities to complete tasks/projects assigned by others.
  • Identifies process and procedure improvement opportunities. Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory updates as they relate to talent acquisition processes and procedures to keep compliant. Serves on teams planning/implementing continuous improvement of processes, the customer experience and the candidate experience. Solves and escalates operational problems and technical issues; modifies existing tools or processes.
  • Participates in workforce planning meetings and implements the strategies to achieve staffing goals. Works with decisions that have moderate impact on function/family operations. Works under general supervision.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Human Resources/Performance Improvement / Information Management

  • Maintains awareness and participates in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) toensure a safe patient environment.
  • Attends and actively participates in team conferences and staff meetings, as assigned.
  • Participates actively in orientation of new employees and on-the-job training of assigned personnel, as assigned.
  • Adheres to all Dameron Hospital Association policies and procedures including but not limited to, the hospital Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, safety rules, Joint Commission standards, California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regulations and any other regulatory agency.
  • Provides methodology for dissemination of information providing opportunities for discussions of division problems, and orientation of new projects or procedures, as assigned.
  • Performs all tasks demonstrating service excellence to both staff and customers.
  • Demonstrates, supports, and models the mission, vision, values and code of conduct for Dameron Hospital Association.
  • Communicates appropriately and effectively to support the department mission.
