Ventek Solutions, headquartered on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina, is a newly established entity following its acquisition by Black Diamond Capital Management (BDCM) from Sonoco Products Company.   

Ventek Solutions currently operates across 8 manufacturing facilities located in the US and Mexico.  Our mission is to be the premier foam molder and integrated solutions provider in North America, serving a wide range of markets with molded foam components and protective packaging, including returnable and integrated material solutions. 

As the Ventek team continues to focus on achieving exciting first year milestones as a stand alone company, the new role of Talent Acquisition Partner will contribute to our success as we add new talent to our team.   While the role’s primary focus is on recruiting new talent, the selected individual will have the opportunity to influence and impact the organization in other talent management areas.    

The role will be influential in the development of the Ventek Employment Brand.  In addition, the selected individual will help identify and lead programs that will support a talent pool of early career development programs, trade schools and other potential talent streams as Ventek Solutions continues to grow.  

The role will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and can be remote within the Eastern or Central Time Zones or reside at our headquarters in Daniel Island, SC 

Key Responsibilities of the position include:

Employment Brand

  • Provide input on developing and evolving Ventek’s employment brand.   Leverage the knowledge and experience of our team to develop the Value Proposition of Ventek as not only the premier foam molder and integrated solutions provider – but as the premier employer in the industry.     
  • Be a positive ambassador for the Ventek team by sharing our mission on a daily basis   

Recruiting:

  • Collaborate with managers to understand their needs and create tailored recruitment strategies that support the company’s long-term goals.  
  • Create/Update Job Descriptions based on the needs of the role and the organization
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, ensuring a high-touch experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Provide guidance and training to hiring managers as needed
  • Adjust recruitment strategies as needed to develop robust pipeline of candidates
  • Recommend, implement and utilize technology to improve overall efficiency of recruiting process

Candidate and Employee Experience:

  • Provide proactive, excellent support to candidates, ensuring a smooth and engaging hiring journey.
  • Develop and lead onboarding practices of all new hires to create a positive employee experience
  • Engage with current team members for ideas and suggestions to improve the overall employee experience
  • Provide input on the talent process and career development for Ventek employees

 Metrics & Compliance

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, etc.) to continuously improve processes and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance and reporting as required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in talent acquisition, with proven success in full-cycle recruiting
  • Experience supporting hourly and salary roles within multiple functions at all levels within a manufacturing environment.    
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, build collaborative relationships, and deliver strategic recruitment solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of using data-driven insights to solve complex recruitment challenges and optimize hiring processes.
  • Must be Authorized to Work in the US
  • Travel – business travel as needed, but will be less than 10%.
