Role Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for both hourly and salaried positions across multiple sites in San Antonio, Rhode Island, and Chicago. This role plays a critical part in attracting, evaluating, and hiring top talent to support the company’s operational and strategic goals within the food manufacturing industry. The TAP will work closely with site leaders, HR business partners, and the Chief People Officer to ensure a consistent, compliant, and high-quality hiring experience. The role also includes oversight of external recruitment vendors and service-level performance to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of talent solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Support hiring needs across production, operations, quality assurance, logistics, R&D, Commercial, and administrative functions such as Finance and HR.
  • Partner with site HR Managers and department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with site HR Assistants to facilitate recruitment efforts. The assistants will provide support on day-to-today recruitment activities. 
  • Maintain strong candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, networking events, and industry outreach.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by communicating clearly, timely, and professionally throughout the hiring process.
  • Promote the company’s employer brand through external partnerships, job fairs, and digital platforms.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics, trends, and outcomes to the Chief People Officer.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment vendors, including staffing agencies and executive search firms.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels, cost benchmarks, and candidate quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as food industry hiring standards.
  • Champion our Finlays’ purpose and values in all recruitment practices.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) and sourcing tools to manage requisitions and candidate data.
  • Travel to sites as needed to support hiring events, interviews, and onboarding activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in the food manufacturing, beverage industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Experience recruiting for both hourly production roles and salaried corporate positions.
  • Familiarity with multi-site operations and hybrid work environments.
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
