Accura HealthCare is seeking an Iowa-based Talent Acquisition Partner to support our skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living communities in their recruiting and workforce planning efforts. In this key role, you will lead initiatives and develop new sources related to recruiting and workforce planning.

JOB SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for partnering with key leaders to forecast staffing needs for specific positions designated by the Resource Center, develop candidate pipelines, source, market, and attract talent to foster the mission of the organization. Formulates strategy to acquire talent to fill key leadership positions. The Talent Acquisition Partner uses Behavioral Interview techniques, screens, interviews, and selects candidates to move through the candidate selection process. Collaborates with key leaders and selects the top candidates for further on-site visits at the facility level. Extends offers and oversees onboarding activities. Maintains excellent candidate and hiring manager relations. Generates reports of recruitment activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads initiatives related to recruiting and workforce planning.
  • Develops recruitment strategies including use of social media, community events and outreach, job fairs, school partnerships, grassroots recruiting, and development of new recruiting sources to acquire talent to assure vacancies are kept to facility specified levels.
  • Uses external scan tools to understand the market and educate key leaders on labor market conditions.
  • Understands and articulates the business line to market positions to potential candidates.
  • Sources and recruits to develop candidates. Pre-closes candidates during candidate intake.
  • Using Behavioral interview techniques, interviews, resumes, credentials reviews, and assessments, determines candidates who meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be a good fit for the position.
  • Assure references are completed and reflective of the quality hire expected to meet Accura competencies.
  • Prepares salary offers and receives approval of the key leader. Prepares and extends the job offer, sign-on bonuses, seasonal agreement, relocation agreements, and any other incentives. Manages counter offers as necessary.
  • Maintains knowledge of benefit plans, incentives, and corporate and facility policies and addresses applicant inquiries.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress in applicant tracking system.
  • Provides Hiring Managers with guidance on interviewing, selecting, and onboarding.
  • Oversees onboarding process to assure activities are carried out to result in on-time candidate start date.
  • Serves as administrator and subject matter expert on hiring software.
  • Manages projects and other duties as assigned or delegated by VP of HR or other key leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; equivalent experience will be considered
  • At least three years of successful recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and report on key metrics
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare, preferably senior care
  • Demonstrated experience driving recruiting initiatives
