As the Talent Acquisition Market Unit Lead you will lead a high-performing geographically dispersed team dedicated to delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. You will drive timely, high-quality hiring to support enterprise growth while cultivating strong partnerships with business and functional leaders, HR Business Partners, and peers across the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (TA COE), Talent Management COE, Total Reward COE, and regional HR partners.
In this role, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and coaching. You will inspire your team to strive for excellence and drive strategic initiatives that enhance recruitment capability, scale delivery, and ensure executional excellence aligned to the business objectives.
As a key member of the Talent Acquisition European leadership team, you will also contribute to aligning global TA policies, practices, governance, transformation efforts, shaping the future of talent acquisition across the organization. This role requires strong leadership change, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to innovation and candidate-centric hiring.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing TA team to ensure consistent and effective recruitment delivery across the market unit.
- Partner with HR & senior business leaders: to understand hiring needs, forecast talent demand, and shape recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on hiring best practices, tools, recruitment processes and innovation, policies, labor market trends, and global TA programs including early career, military etc. and key projects including the ‘future of assessment’.
- Proactively escalate hiring delivery risks (i.e. delays, pipeline gaps, volume surges) and partner on timely resolution.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of senior-level hiring within the market unit and act as strategic advisor for other leadership recruitment
- Collaborate with regional marketing and communications teams to localize the organization’s employer brand while maintaining global brand consistency.
- Develops and execute innovative employer branding and sourcing strategies to attract high-quality talent.
- Communicates and collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders in other regions to ensure consistent practices and outcomes across the organization.
- Manage local recruiting vendors and agency partners, ensuring performance and alignment to global standards
- Drive data-informed decision making by leveraging internal and external market data, analytics, and business insights.
- Track, analyse, and report on recruitment KPIs, identifying performance risks and leading continuous improvement efforts.
- Play a lead role in end-to-end senior leadership hiring
- Ensure recruitment operations remain compliant with local labour laws, global standards, and internal policies.
- Contribute to and influence workforce planning, organizational changes, and surge/ramp initiatives by aligning TA strategy to business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- c.7 years’ experience in talent acquisition, including strategic delivery and process optimization; experience supporting or leading TA transformation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading recruitment teams in a matrixed European organization with experience of ways of working with works councils, and unionized environments in Europe.
- Proven experience in executive recruitment, successfully placing senior leadership roles
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable talent acquisition strategies.
- Strong understanding of operational and strategic based recruitment reporting and analytics
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience in implementing inclusive recruitment practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Flexibility to work across different time zones to support global recruitment efforts.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment technology and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for managing end-to-end recruitment processes; Workday strongly preferred and other ATS, recruitment and sourcing technology.
- Expertise in a variety of sourcing channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide high level insights when communicating with senior leaders
- Flexibility to work across time zones and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract and full time posistion.
