The Talent Acquisition Manager deploys a deep understanding of Tatte’s purpose, essence, mission, and values to help us grow our team at all levels of the organization. Reporting to the VP of People, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for all aspects of the talent acquisition process, including the development and implementation of strategies to source, attract, actively recruit, evaluate, retain, hire, and onboard qualified candidates. They are also a dedicated partner to our support and operations teams, supporting them by anticipating and identifying staffing needs, navigating all aspects of talent acquisition, and facilitating succession planning. Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop, nurture, and sustain strong relationships with all internal clients
- Lead employer branding initiatives in partnership with the VP of People and brand services to attract, recruit, and hire the best talent
- Develop and implement diverse sourcing strategies by department and position
- Build, nurture, and grow relationships with industry, affinity, and workforce development organizations
- Work in partnership with operations and learning and development leadership on internal pipeline and succession planning efforts to identify external talent needs and action plans relative to those needs
- Work with internal clients to develop and finalize job descriptions, and, as needed, perform related research concerning wage bands
- Draft, post, and regularly update all openings on Tatte’s HRIS and relevant external platforms
- Actively recruit new team members (hourly, manager, and support) in partnership with operations and support teams
- Develop, refine, and implement scalable application and interviewing policies and procedures
- Conduct screening interviews as needed and schedule follow up interviews
- Train hiring managers to conduct interviews
- Provide counsel and support to internal clients throughout the talent acquisition process
- Draft offer letters for candidates
- Work in partnership with the Learning and Development team and hiring manger to onboard new manager and support team members
- Track and monitor applicant tracking system data to manage internal client expectations and create an excellent candidate experience
- Develop and implement scalable processes to optimize the applicant experience from application to disposition
- Track and monitor data to measure success (staffing to par, turnover, cost-per-hire, bench strength, etc.)
- Conduct background and reference checks
- Ensure that all talent acquisition and employment activities comply with applicable law and Tatte policies
- Stay informed about relevant industry trends
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions / Essential Functions
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for at least 8 hours per day
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Must be able to work in small and occasional crowded spaces (while in an operations environment)
Position Requirements
- 3-5 years of direct recruiting experience for hourly and manager-level employees
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to take initiative, project manage and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and act with urgency when needed
- Customer service-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently and nimbly
- Ability to visit different Tatte work locations (cafes, bakeries, catering kitchens, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with UltiPro
- Proficiency in Spanish (highly preferred)
- Experience recruiting in the hospitality industry (highly preferred)
- PHR or SPHR certification
