The Lede Company human resources team is seeking a skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our recruitment efforts placing PR, communications & social impact professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced environments and experience within agency settings. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify top talent and build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, source, and place public relations and communication professionals at all levels.Responsible for developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, source, and place public relations and communication professionals at all levels.
Partner with hiring managers to identify and define job requirements, aligning them with overall company and team objectives.
Design and manage the comprehensive recruitment process, encompassing job advertisement, candidate procurement, interview procedures, and offer finalization.
Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including cold outreach, social media, job boards, industry-specific platforms, to build a robust talent pipeline.
Conduct interviews and assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit to ensure alignment with the companyโs values and mission.
Maintain and leverage a database of candidates, ensuring timely communication and follow-up throughout the hiring process.
Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to continually improve the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
Stay current with industry trends and market insights to inform recruitment strategies and enhance employer branding including compensation bench marks.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including academic institutions, professional organizations, and talent acquisition firms.
Support other HR functions and projects including but not limited to DE&I and HR Operations, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience leading talent acquisition, with a strong focus on public relations and communications roles.
Agency experience is required.
Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills to assess and improve recruitment processes and metrics.
Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
