Compensation: $20/hour

At ThreePeaks Ascent, we specialize in outdoor therapeutic programs that empower youth through immersive wilderness experiences. As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in building the team that guides and mentors young people on transformative journeys in the wild. You’ll recruit passionate outdoor leaders, field guides, and behavioral health professionals who are eager to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement innovative recruiting strategies
  • Source, screen, and engage top talent using various search methods
  • Manage the full interview and selection process for all positions
  • Facilitate job offers and assist in employment negotiations
  • Build strong relationships with candidates to enhance their experience
  • Partner with the Field Director to set and achieve hiring goals
  • Ensure compliance with hiring regulations and best practices
  • Represent ThreePeaks Ascent at job fairs and recruiting events
  • Stay up to date with hiring trends to continuously improve processes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in recruiting or human resources
  • A valid driver’s license 
  • Able to pass a background screen
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Reliable internet and cell service
  • Access to an appropriate space to conduct video and phone interview (e.g. a home office)
  • Occasional travel required (visit office, job fairs, etc)

Preferred education and experience

  • Experience working at a wilderness therapy program
  • Located in Southern Utah
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field, or equivalent experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Has worked in a helping profession 
  • ATS experience
  • HRCI PHR and/or SHRM CP certification or working toward certification
