Reporting to the General Manager, People and Culture at our Murarrie support office, the Talent Acquisition Manager is a key leader within the P&C team, responsible for driving accountability, capability, and outcomes across the team. This role operates both ‘in the now’, by ensuring current recruitment delivery is effective, and ‘in the future’, by identifying and implementing improvements to systems, processes, and ways of working.

Day to day, you will: 

  • Own end-to-end recruitment delivery across the group, ensuring roles are filled efficiently 

  • Ensures all recruitment and onboarding processes uphold Green Leaves’ commitment to child safeguarding, including adherence to background screening, verification and compliance requirements 

  • Leads, coaches and develops the Talent Acquisition team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes 

  • Lead employment branding initiatives to actively promote the Green Leaves Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and employer brand 

  • Work with the General Manager, People and Culture and our HR Systems Officer to design and implement new system processes as appropriate 

  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives across recruitment systems, processes and frameworks 

  • Partners with Operations to uplift capability in recruitment practices, including workforce planning, interviewing and hiring decisions 

  • Uses data and insights to improve recruitment performance, efficiency and cost 

  • Builds and engages a professional network through relationships with other HR professionals, colleges and partners. 

 

You will hold: 

  • Qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or other related discipline 

  • Proven experience in leading a recruitment function in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with demonstrated success 

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Awards and employment legislation 

  • Proven experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment marketing tools 

  • Strong commercial mindset, balancing quality, speed and cost of hiring 

  • High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in relation to contracts, pay and compliance 

  • Effective problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills 

  • The ability to think outside the box, be creative, find solutions and collaborate 

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels
