We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Talent Acquisition Lead to help lead our recruitment and hiring efforts in our fast-paced manufacturing environment, while providing support to our Human Resources team.

 

The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for developing and executing robust recruitment strategies to support recruiting and hiring activities to meet the staffing needs of the company.  The position contributes to an inclusive and engaging workplace by building a strong talent pipeline, providing an excellent candidate experience, and promoting the company as an employer of choice within the community. This role includes supporting overall Human Resources functions within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive recruitment strategies and sourcing using new and creative techniques to post and advertise open positions using multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Proactively source candidates through social media, job boards, college/university relationships, and professional contacts and job fairs.
  • Screen, pre-qualify, interview, and assist in selecting qualified candidates using best hiring practices, to include any applicable testing and verifying work authorizations. Conduct or coordinate interviews for supervisor/managers and maintain communication with candidates.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and managers to enhance their interview processes.
  • Provide timely updates to candidates, including interview follow-ups, job offers, rejection notices and employment-related inquiries.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records.
  • Responsible to coordinate and schedule applicable travel arrangements associated with the interview process.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, HR projects, and events. Collaborating with the department to develop, plan, and execute employee engagement programs.
  • Perform general Human Resources duties as needed.

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Office and manufacturing support environment. Occasional standing, walking, stair climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Proficient in managing and optimizing content across various social media platforms.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and resourceful with problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable attendance required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus, with ability to read and write Spanish.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

Work Authorization/ Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
