Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Human Resources team at MEM Insurance. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of talent acquisition and HR administration. The ideal candidate will assist with sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing HR technology systems. Additionally, the intern will work on several projects aimed at optimizing our talent acquisition processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Tasks

    • Assist with sourcing and screening candidates to identify top talent.
    • Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers.
    • Support the management and maintenance of HR technology systems (HRIS).

Projects May Include

    • Set up and maintain dashboards to track key talent acquisition metrics.
    • Organize and maintain the Talent Acquisition SharePoint folder.
    • Organize and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs.
    • Add and update job descriptions in Dayforce.
    • Optimize job postings to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
    • Test and implement automation tools to streamline recruitment processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HR technology systems (HRIS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
