TITLE: Talent Acquisition & HR Technology Lead

LOCATION: On-site in Geneva, Illinois

COMP RANGE: $90,000-$100,000 /year

Drive end-to-end talent acquisition and HR technology excellence by combining human-centered recruiting with AI-powered insights. This role leads full-cycle recruitment, enhances candidate and hiring manager experiences, and leverages data, automation, and analytics to deliver efficient, equitable, and high-impact hiring outcomes.

Champion a high-performing, inclusive hiring experience by leading full-cycle recruitment and leveraging data and AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes. This role balances innovation with compassion, ensuring every candidate and hiring manager interaction is meaningful, equitable, and aligned with organizational values. 

As a Talent Acquisition & HR Technology Lead your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, using AI-enabled tools to streamline hiring processes and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, develop recruiting strategies, and leverage labor market data and analytics to drive effective hiring decisions.
  • Proactively source talent through job boards, social media, networking, and AI-powered platforms to build diverse and high-quality candidate pipelines.
  • Utilize AI technologies (e.g., resume screening, candidate matching, automation tools) to enhance recruiting outcomes while maintaining a human-centered approach.
  • Deliver a positive and personalized candidate experience by balancing automation with meaningful engagement and consistent communication.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, diversity data) to optimize performance and inform continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including ethical and responsible use of AI in hiring practices.
  • Support employer branding, DEI initiatives, and HR technology/HRIS systems (including ATS administration, reporting, and automation) to strengthen talent acquisition and organizational effectiveness.
  • HRIS & Analytics
    • Serve as system administrator for HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS/ADP), including AI-enabled features and integrations.
    • Maintain employee data integrity, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across systems and AI tools.
    • Generate and analyze HR reports and dashboards, utilizing advanced analytics and AI insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Configure workflows, system updates, and integrations, including automation and AI-driven enhancements.
    • Troubleshoot system issues and partner with vendors on both traditional system and AI-related functionality.
    • Support HR technology implementations, upgrades, and process automation/AI initiatives.
    • Train HR team members and managers on HRIS tools, reporting capabilities, and responsible use of AI in HR processes.

The Talent Acquisition & HR Technology Lead position may be right for you if you:

  • You’re energized by using (or learning) AI and emerging technologies to drive better HR and recruiting outcomes.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in recruiting, HRIS, or a hybrid HR role, with strong full-cycle hiring expertise.
  • You’re experienced with ADP and comfortable managing data, systems, and workflows.
  • You’ve supported both hourly and salaried populations in manufacturing and/or corporate settings.
  • You are data-driven, with strong Excel/reporting skills and the ability to translate analytics into action.
  • You understand employment law and compliance (Illinois preferred) and prioritize accuracy and integrity.
  • You build strong partnerships, communicate effectively, and thrive managing multiple priorities.

. Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Must have ADP experience 
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting practices and employment laws, including Illinois labor regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR data analysis, reporting, and Excel (advanced skills preferred).
  • Experience with HR data privacy and confidentiality standards.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What will set you apart:

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
  • Experience with system implementations or upgrades with ADP
  • Proven experience building relationships with the external talent community; fostering connections with schools and community. 
  • Experience working in medical device and/or a regulated industry

Physical Requirements:

This will require both office and plant environments. 

Office-based role with occasionally remote flexibility

May require extended screen time and system-based work

There is potential for a discretionary bonus, with a target of 10% This bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
