We are on the lookout for an Internal Movements/Redeployment Coordinator based in Melbourne to join our national Talent Acquisition team, supporting our Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland portfolio.
This is not your traditional recruitment role. There is no outbound sourcing or agency-style recruitment. Instead, this role sits at the centre of our operations, driving workforce mobilisation, redeployment, and real-time staffing outcomes across a complex, high-volume environment.
As an Internal Movements Coordinator, you will take ownership of how we move, place, and maximise our existing workforce. You will play a critical role in ensuring employees are redeployed quickly, shifts are optimised, and operational gaps are closed efficiently.
You will work closely with Talent Acquisition, operations, and site leaders to keep our workforce moving, engaged, and effectively utilised.
What you will be responsible for:
Partner with Talent Acquisition to match existing employees to vacancies, managing engagement and expectations through the process
Drive the redeployment of employees removed from sites, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions
Actively manage and engage employees awaiting placement, maintaining connection and readiness
Monitor and reduce makeup pay by identifying and coordinating suitable shift opportunities
Support workforce planning by identifying internal talent and aligning them to future opportunities
Contribute to maintaining optimal staffing levels across multiple sites through proactive workforce movement
About you:
You understand workforce movement, not just recruitment. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where priorities shift and outcomes matter.
Full Australian working rights
Experience in workforce coordination, rostering, operations, or similar
Proven ability to work in a high-volume, outcome-driven environment
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
