Hours are typically Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.  Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs. In addition, this position is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time after successful completion of training period.

This position is located at the ESL headquarters in Rochester, NY.

Pay and Incentive Plan:

Hourly Rate of pay-$31.1199

Purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator role is a professional entry level position on the Talent Management Team. The purpose of this position is to provide a high touch, candidate-focused experience throughout the hiring process. The incumbent in this position will provide coordination support to talent business partners, candidates, hiring managers, business leaders, and other HR team members. In addition, they will handle high volume interview scheduling, conduct background checks for new hires and perform heavy computer work within MS Office and an Applicant Tracking system. Providing a positive overall experience for candidates and managers throughout the interviewing and recruiting process is essential.

Accountabilities:

Provide administrative support and coordination to the Talent Acquisition team during the full recruitment life-cycle. Coordinate recruitment logistics, assist with maintaining the company’s applicant tracking system, and oversee the onboarding and background check process for new hires. Assist with other administrative support as assigned.

  • Build and post position requisitions in recruiting system. Ensure details are accurate and appropriate approvals are received.
  • Assist Talent Business Partners with advertising open positions at colleges or other on-line sites.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates for various roles in the organization. Positions may include point of entry roles to more specialized, niche positions.
  • Schedule and communicate details of the phone, teams or in-person interview with the hiring team and candidate. Tasks will include texting or emailing a confirmation email, itinerary and calendar invite to the candidate and sending interview details to hiring team.
  • Onboard the new hire to ESL, once candidate is selected and position is offered by Talent Business Partner.
  • Manage background/employment checks. Responsible for verifying responses in the background investigation system and maintain required tracking. Engage Talent Business Partner as needed.
  • Provide a positive experience to candidates, talent acquisition team and hiring managers by communicating clearly, accurately and timely throughout the recruiting process.
  • Act as point person for employment inquiries and routing to appropriate Talent Business Partner as needed.
  • Offer administrative support for the Student Employment Program and onboarding of temporary employees.
  • Register the Talent Acquisition team for job fairs or networking events.
  • May attend networking events or job fairs to connect with active job seekers.        
  • Process job changes as appropriate.                                                                                                                                                       
  • Fulfills requests for referral cards and administration of employee referral payouts.                                                                                                     
  • Write and post new hire and job change announcement on ESL's intranet-ESLtoday.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Ensures HR administration is done efficiently, accurately and completely

  • Ensure integrity of applicant tracking system data. Duties may include managing applicant workflow, candidate communication and candidate
    disposition.
  • Use technology to streamline processes, reduce paper and minimize nonvalue-added work. 
  • Maintain record keeping and file maintenance once candidate is hired.
  • Maintain Affirmative Action Outreach calendar.
  • Prepare and present monthly or quarterly reports to the Talent Management Team
  • Manage SAFE Act process and other compliance needs

Increases knowledge & skills to provide ever-increasing value to ESL

  • Works well as a member of the Human Resources team by cooperating, volunteering, learning and communicating.
  • Takes the initiative to develop and expand overall HR knowledge.
  • Contributes positively to the team and to ESL by demonstrating our service expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.  Equivalent experience may include scheduling, coordinating or planning work within tight deadlines.
  • In addition, you must have 2 years experience in Human Resources or in a related field. College coursework and/or internship may be considered toward experience as well as the equivalent experience mentioned above.
  • PC proficient in all Microsoft office products; applicant tracking system (ATS) experience a plus.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with diverse internal and external customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing and shifting priorities to meet business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve when unique situations arise.
