Purpose of Position:
Coordinates and supports talent acquisition activities throughout NSHC. The position serves as the operational lead for recruitment processes, candidate experience, onboarding coordination, recruitment marketing, and talent acquisition reporting.
The incumbent works closely with Recruiters, Managers, and Department leaders to support efficient hiring processes, improve candidate engagement, reduce time-to-fill, and ensure a positive employment and onboarding experience for applicants and new employees.
The position allows recruiters to focus on sourcing, screening, and hiring highly qualified candidates while ensuring recruitment operations are coordinated effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and administer the organization’s full-cycle recruitment process across all departments.
- Coordinate and manage the New Employee Orientation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensure positive recruitment and hiring experience. (Can we better manage this w/HR specialist?) and or, is there a text app or program that sends communication quickly?
- Coordinate recruitment marketing, advertising, job fairs, outreach initiatives, and employer branding efforts to attract qualified candidates.
- Monitor and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), recruitment records, and hiring documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze recruitment metrics, reports and workforce data to support hiring strategies and leadership decision making.
- Assist with job fairs, career events, and recruiting outreach activities.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable employment laws and NSHC policies.
- Maintain and update all recruitment-related job platforms and partner with public relations for media recruitment.
- Coordinate and ensure completion of all pre-employment screening, and employment documentation requirements for candidates.
- Partner with managers to support recruitment planning, improve the hiring process, and implement talent acquisition initiatives.
