Classification:  Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay: $27-31 an hour

This is a full-time position to support our sister Company, Corto Olive office in Lodi, CA and Stanislaus Food Products located in Modesto, CA. This role will be expected to travel to and from our Lodi office and administrative office in Modesto, CA on occasion. 

In this role, you will be responsible for one of our most important aspects- our people!  The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, coordinating, hiring and onboarding while supporting our superior quality initiatives. You will uphold a consistent brand presence between Stanislaus Food Products and Corto Olive while fostering strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders through the delivery of superior quality service for both SFP and Corto Olive.

This position will be primarily responsible for:

  • Maintaining staffing requirements by staying informed of organizational plans and objectives as well as meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Sourcing candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Leveraging online recruiting resources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Screening candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings, online and in person interviews.
  • Arranging interviews by coordinating schedules and arranging visits and/or tours.
  • Establishing personalized service (one of our core values) by providing superior candidate experience including designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
  • Participating in job fairs and industry related career events; coordinating events with hiring managers, as appropriate.
  • Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including colleges and universities.
  • Facilitating the offer process by extending job offers and negotiating terms.
  • Facilitating the onboarding and new hire process, including administering pre-employment screenings, benefits overview and more.
  • Ensuring best practices followed and all applicable laws and regulations applied of recruiting trends.
  • Continuously improving the process to ensure the best candidate experience.
  • May be required to lead or participate in committees.
  • Other duties or people service needs as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least two years of Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with proven examples.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever evolving landscape.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • At least two years working knowledge of HRIS and/or ATS.
  • Ability to manage and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related field or experience.

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling;   rare stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity:   50% or more sitting,  25% or less walking, and 25% or less standing. The job is performed under  rare temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 30 lbs. is required.
