Talent Acquisition Contractor

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $22/hr

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Contractor partners closely with the Talent Acquisition team and business leaders to support full-cycle recruiting efforts and ensure the organization attracts, engages, and hires top talent. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidates through the recruitment process while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team members and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and business objectives.

  • Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruitment strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates.

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.

  • Review applications and resumes to assess qualifications and alignment with job requirements.

  • Conduct candidate pre-screening interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and overall fit.

  • Coordinate all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling interviews, preparing interview guides, reserving meeting locations, sending calendar invitations, and managing interview logistics.

  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience while promoting a fair, inclusive, and professional hiring process.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to provide updates on candidate pipelines, recruiting activity, and market insights.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Support recruitment projects, process improvements, and talent acquisition initiatives as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Staffing, or Human Resources.

  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment processes.

  • Strong candidate sourcing and screening experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build relationships and establish credibility with candidates, hiring managers, and business leaders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR or SPHR certification.

  • Experience recruiting in a corporate environment.

  • Combination of corporate and agency recruiting experience.

  • Experience partnering directly with business leaders and hiring managers on recruiting strategies.

  • Knowledge of proactive sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent sourcing platforms.
