POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for managing the hiring process from beginning to end utilizing a matrix score system and candidate evaluation.  This includes primarily sourcing, screening, and hiring employees across various business groups with heavy emphasis in our Operations team for both salary and hourly positions.  Responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process while collaborating with the HR team members to maintain compliance with company policies and legal requirements.  In addition to sourcing candidates through various channels, he/she will conduct initial screenings/interviews, coordinate interview schedules, and partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for connecting with candidates, a strong understanding of recruiting processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their critical talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent in support of the business.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned roles (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, onboarding handoff).
  • Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and leveraging social media platforms.
  • Conduct initial interviews through behavioral and competency-based interviewing to assess candidate fit to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for specific roles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
  • Present ongoing requisition updates both written and verbally to the HR Leader and Management team
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to maintain accurate candidate records and track recruitment metrics.
  • Network, source, and build a talent pipeline with colleges/universities, technical schools, and other resources to build employer brand and attract the highest skilled talent, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Ensure all candidates have a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process by communicating timely updates and feedback to candidates and hiring teams while representing the company’s brand and values in every interaction.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have direct reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work successfully in an environment with high visibility and the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations independently.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and administrative practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Sound judgement and discretion.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in agency and/or corporate recruiting with a focus on hiring hourly employees in manufacturing or distribution environments highly preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish speaking skills highly preferred.
  • Workday HRIS experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional assessment and interviewing skills and a strong command of assessment and selection methodologies, instruments, and processes.
  • Track record of flawless execution and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-oriented, high-demand environment with tight deliverables.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruitment best practices, and ATS systems (Workday experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic partner while also executing day-to-day recruiting activities.
