Talent Acquisition Assistant

 

 

Location: On-Site (Uptown, Dallas)

Employment Type: Fulltime, Temporary (6+ months)

Compensation: $22.00 – 24.00 hourly

 

 

Megatel Homes, one of the nation’s premier homebuilders, is seeking an organized, detailoriented Talent Acquisition Assistant to support our recruiting function during a period of rapid growth. This entrylevel role focuses on resume disposition, basic candidate screening and funneling qualified candidates to the Lead Recruiter for phone screens.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition while gaining handson experience in a fastpaced environment.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Candidate Pipeline Support

  • Review and disposition large volumes of resumes within the ATS.
  • Conduct basic emailbased screening using standardized templates and criteria.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements and escalate qualified candidates to the Lead Recruiter.
  • Special projects as assigned

 

Communication & Coordination

  • Send screening questions and followup communications to applicants.
  • Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
  • Schedule phone screens between candidates and the Lead Recruiter as needed.

 

ATS & Documentation

  • Update candidate statuses and notes in the ATS with accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal hiring processes and documentation standards.

 

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Lead Recruiter to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Provide regular updates on candidate pipeline progress and bottlenecks.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 1 year of recruiting experience
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable working onsite in Uptown Dallas.
  • Prior experience in customer service, HR, or administrative role
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms is helpful but not mandatory.
