Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition and Team Building Specialist for our Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.  This position reports directly to the Corporate HR Manager located in Bloomington, Indiana.

 

Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition and Team Building Specialist is responsible for leading recruitment efforts while also designing and implementing initiatives that enhance team dynamics, employee engagement, and workplace culture. This unique role blends talent sourcing with employee experience, aiming to build not just a workforce but a strong collaborative team. This role requires an understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with candidates, hiring managers, team members, and business partners attract top talent.
  • Communicate with hiring managers to understand their current and future hiring needs.
  • Source candidates through a variety of methods generating a robust talent pipeline
  • Conduct phone-screens to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Manage full recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer, and onboarding.
  • Develop onboarding experiences that promote team integration and engagement.
  • Document conversations, interview progress, offers and feedback in our Applicant Tracking System. (Paycom)
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professionalism.
  • Accurately process onboarding paperwork and candidate dispositioning.

 

 

Team Building & Culture Development (in conjunction with Business Partners)

  • Design and facilitate team-building events.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
  • Organize employee engagement activities.
  • Oversee the work environment to ensure positive employee experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 + years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with exposure to team development or employee engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and recruitment best practice.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Fosters partnerships that create productive and effective relationships.
  • Strong technical skills. (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite)
