DESCRIPTION

PYA is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Operations Assistant to join its high-performing and privately owned firm with a dynamic culture and a strong national reputation. This individual will work closely with PYA team members throughout the PYA Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition & Operations Assistant will assist the Talent Acquisition and Operations Team with various responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the current Talent Acquisition Team to assist with the recruiting and hiring process
  • Assist with full lifecycle recruiting for PYA’s Affiliate Companies to include: publishing job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and phone calls, sending emails, conducting reference checks, and emailing skills tests
  • Participate and support the development and execution of recruiting plans including relationship building, lead generation, brand development, and integrating feedback to enhance the recruiting and hiring process
  • Draft new hire announcements for internal distribution 
  • Serve as back-up to the PYA Ambassador and answer multiple phone lines with superb phone etiquette and route inbound callers with excellence 
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail
  • Assist with special events, projects, and other general office duties

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Exceptional interpersonal and project management skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and discretion in contacts at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task
  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Ability to function effectively and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, high demand environment
  • Adept with Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel
  • Ability to work well on a professional team
