The opportunity

At PSC we pride ourselves on recruiting the right people to join our team, helping us maintain our highly engaged culture and continue to thrive! This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join our Council to play a key role in finding top talent. 

With over 60 individual business units across the organisation, you’ll provide expert advice and guidance to our hiring managers and key stakeholders from teams within Children’s Services, Governance, Capital Works, Communications, Customer Experience and many, many more!

You’ll own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including assisting in the management of our on-boarding processes; continuous improvement within our systems (we use Cornerstone), actively seek new and forward-thinking ways of attracting our talent in an ever changing market, and be encouraged to get involved in bringing your own unique flare to our processes and projects along the way!

Reporting directly to our Organisation Culture Specialist, you’ll be joining the broader People & Culture team including Human Resources, Learning and Development, and one other Talent Acquisition Advisor to work alongside.

  • This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
  • Base Salary Range: $82,208 to $96,718 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance 
  • You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

  • A Diploma in Human Resource Management or other related field and sound experience working within a recruitment related role
  • Sound knowledge of recruitment methods, talent searching and innovative talent sourcing strategies 
  • Demonstrated experience working in Human Resource Management Systems (HRIS) – we use Cornerstone
  • Demonstrated well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a strong team environment and autonomously
