About The Role and Team

Due to investment and growth in our People & Culture team, we are looking to hire a passionate Talent Acquisition Advisor or Specialist on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. This role is full-time (although we will consider part-time candidates who can work 4 days a week), reporting directly to our Chief People Officer with a dotted reporting line to our Senior People & Culture Manager.

You will be a key strategic partner in the People & Culture team and across the business, responsible for delivering high-quality recruitment advice and end-to-end recruitment services to drive our business forward, while providing an exceptional candidate experience.

While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office, at Bartier Perry, we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment activities, including creating job advertisements, sourcing candidates, co-ordinating and attending interviews, facilitating candidate assessments, and conducting reference checks
  • Partner with leaders across the firm to identify recruitment needs and provide strategic talent acquisition advice
  • Continually improve the candidate and hiring leader experience by enhancing processes and systems
  • Champion, promote and build on Bartier Perry’s Employee Value Proposition
  • Manage the firm’s Careers inbox, LinkedIn Recruiter, HRIS Recruiter (Employment HERO), and SEEK accounts
  • Work closely with the business in order to understand the roles and responsibilities, and ulitilise this information to develop effective recruiting strategies.

About you

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within the legal industry, professional services or within a legal recruitment agency (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to support and manage the recruitment needs of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to implement best practice and cost effective sourcing and recruitment methodologies to build talent pools
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong integrity underpinned by a solutions focussed approach and a can-do attitude
