As Student Assistant in Talent Acquisition, you will join Bang & Olufsen’s People & Culture department, supporting our Talent Acquisition (TA) team. Based in Struer, Denmark, you will be part of an international, collaborative team where you will gain hands-on experience with recruitment processes and talent attraction activities across all our functions and global offices.

 

This position is only open to students who are a full-time student at a Danish university whilst employed.

 

Key responsibilities

As our new Student Assistant, you will play a key role in our recruitment and talent attraction activities. You will:

  • Create and maintain candidate pipelines for future projects – mapping and updating top profiles.
  • Support talent searches through various digital channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, etc.).
  • Write compelling job advertisements, working closely with hiring managers to understand needs.
  • Support managers in screening applications, arranging interviews, and training them on recruitment systems and processes.
  • Assist with employer branding activities and events.
  • Handle recruitment administration: posting jobs, scheduling interviews, setting up psychometric tests, referencing, and processing & analyzing talent data

 

What you bring

We are looking for people-focused student with an interest in HR and recruitment. You are studying for a bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field and are eager to learn and grow within talent acquisition.

 

Moreover, you bring:

  • A curious mindset, always wanting to learn and improve your knowledge.
  • Process orientated, able to follow workflows and navigate databases.
  • Open-mindedness, with the ability to listen and interpret information from different sources.
  • Confidence in engaging with stakeholders and candidates at all seniority levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an overview of multiple projects at once.
  • Adaptability and experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with LinkedIn and other international job boards (an advantage).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); Danish is a valuable addition.

You will become part of a small, collaborative TA team of 5 people based in the UK, Struer, Lyngby, and Sofia. We value knowledge sharing, teamwork, and continuous improvement. TA is part of the wider People & Culture function, which includes 20+ colleagues across Struer and Lyngby. You will work closely with managers at all levels, supporting them in hiring the best talent for Bang & Olufsen.

Compensation: Hourly rate

Work Hours: 15-20 hours a week

Location: Struer, Denmark (hybrid flexibility)

Start date: As soon as possible

Travel: Approx. 5%
