Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Human Resources department of our Atlanta Center of Excellence office.  We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.  

The Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist will deliver high quality candidates by optimizing talent acquisition expertise to place business staff positions. This position will develop creative recruitment solutions to include resume database mining and searching, social media, networking, college and alumni recruitment, as well as identifying new sourcing channels. Position is also responsible for cultivating a superior candidate experience from first contact and throughout the hiring process, leveraging the GT brand at every opportunity.

The Staff Talent Acquisition Specialist works alongside the Director of Talent Services Operations, Staff Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Services Operations Supervisor in delivering optimal talent solutions to increase ROI and efficiencies across the globe through collaboration with the HR teams, Shared Services departments and offices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and place job advertising in various media

  • Maintains Firm’s recruiting database

  • Organizes and conduct candidate searches on various resume databases

  • Initiates contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings

  • Enhances GT’s presence online and build an ongoing talent pipeline

  • Reviews applications, resumes, conduct phone screens / interviews, schedule interviews and keep hiring supervisors up to date every step of the way

  • Ensures the candidate, hiring manager and/or recruiter experiences are met with exceptional service delivery

  • Maintains pre-employment activities including screenings, paperwork, office and applicant communications and vendor database

  • Analyzes recruitment metrics and costs and make recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Distributes and approves bar and court admission verifications, as well as sends education verifications; issues clearances

  • Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use social media and other alternative methods to identify top quality candidates

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation to effectively engage and communicate with candidates, attorneys, supervisors, colleagues and staff, in a professional and solution-oriented manner

  • Provide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services and meet or exceed client expectations. Proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a team

  • Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize multiple tasks

  • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively

  • Recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such information as confidential

  • Candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or related field preferred

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience as an administrative or executive assistant, in a professional administrative position in large or medium size organization

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems a plus

  • Prior work experience in or with a professional services firm preferred

  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
