The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner - Retail is responsible for leading full cycle recruiting processes for Retail management positions and providing strategic support for new store openings. This individual will partner with hiring managers to create, manage, and drive the recruitment lifecycle process from onset through offer creating thoughtful processes that align with current business objectives.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Focus on full cycle Recruiting for Store/Field Leadership roles and New Store Openings
  • Create, implement, and drive Retail recruitment initiatives, strategies, tools and processes that align with business objectives. Train Retail Field teams on these processes ensuring adoption.
  • Provide training, coaching and general guidance to hiring managers on interview and recruitment best practices
  • Develop strong, thoughtful partnerships with District Managers ensuring ongoing open dialogue regarding Field needs.
  • Lead the new store opening (NSO) hiring strategy and process to ensure successful hiring to meet staffing needs
  • Collaborate with the team to creatively source, evaluate, network, and hire top tier talent
  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide thought leadership, expertise and guidance on effective talent decisions
  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from requisition approval through employment offer for owned roles.
  • Conduct detailed behavior-based interviews to assess capabilities and skills
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand objectives, role requirements and desired candidate profiles
  • Utilize creative recruiting sourcing strategies and proactively build a pipeline of ‘ready talent’
  • Maintain recruitment metrics / tracking, sharing out relevant Retail recruitment metrics to the business
  • Utilize data analytics to drive talent acquisition decisions and recommendations, inclusive of recruitment spend
  • Provide backup support for full cycle Corporate recruitment during peak times
  • Conduct ongoing research of competitive landscape and market insights / trends to remain current and relevant

  • Able to make decisions and complete tasks within a growing, changing, and fast moving organization
  • Creating and implementing effective field recruitment processes
  • Employ a variety of recruitment methods to drive Field-based applicant flow
  • Identify, qualify and close candidates across a wide variety of roles
  • Keen ability to effectively partner with hiring managers and navigate through a growing organization
  • Ability to make decisions independently and escalate when needed
  • Enjoy establishing working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to create, measure and scale
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and ATS (Workday preferred)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in full cycle recruiting within a multi-unit retail environment
  • Experience with or acumen to learn full cycle Corporate recruiting
