About the Job

We are currently seeking a full-time Taleo System Administrator who will be responsible for evaluating the current system landscape, including configuration and setup in Recruiting, Onboarding, and Reporting with the expectation to provide guidance on how to better use the application and its features. 

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Conducts a holistic health check of the Recruiting, Onboarding, and Reporting modules and recommends areas of improvement; Provides an implementation plan to support agreed upon recommendations
  • Discovers industry best practices regarding how to best leverage the system and its current configuration to best meet business needs.  Develops a plan to implement the desired recommendations.
  • Where applicable, builds new, or modifies existing, candidate selection workflows (CSW) and onboarding processes to provide a better candidate/applicant experience, as well as a more efficient internal system and hiring manager user experience
  • Assesses gaps between a) business process, b) ATS/PeopleSoft data collection and usage, and c) reporting and analysis requirements to determine changes needed to ensure that all three facets support each other; Provide an implementation plan to support recommendations
  • Reviews and recommends changes to system configurations, including but not limited to\: automated tasks, requisition design, hiring manager and candidate user experience, user defined fields and forms, data exchange structure structure, career site design, row level security, requisition and job field template mapping, reporting design, and other areas as needed; Provides an implementation plan to support recommendations;
  • Creation of the following deliverables:
    • Conversion workbook (if applicable)
    • Configuration cookbook
    • Maintenance & creation TCC scripts
    • Relevant job-aids for power users
  • Reviews onboarding steps to ensure 100% completion is achieved for all new hires
  • Configures Recruiting module to allow for the use of preliminary “screening” questions to ensure candidates are most qualified for a specific open requisition
  • Configures and sets-up requisitions to allow prescribed system flow.  Manually maintains system “evergreen” requisitions as required to maintain optimal workflow
  • Advises on best practices with regards to bridging between ATS and PeopleSoft HRIS and other applications; helps develop a process plan to help realize these best practices
  • Creates new and/or modify existing reports in metrics delivery system
  • Provides recommendations for modifications to system inter-connect scrips and associated interfaces where applicable
  • Assists in the creation of new, or modification of, existing Career Sites to provide a more streamlined candidate/applicant experience
  • Recommends appropriate user/candidate interfaces, in light of changes introduced by Cloud system upgrades or data model
  • Configures system to allow different user type access to certain reports
  • Cleans-up and conducts light maintenance of message templates/notifications associated with recruiting workflow and onboarding tasks.
  • Configures Mandated Reporter Tracking to allow for the upload of a certificate of completion in Taleo during the onboarding process;
  • Conducts knowledge transfers and provide training for power users of Recruiting, Transitions and OBI Modules;
  • Assists in creation of testing plans, scripts, and support of end user testing and defect resolution
  • Reviews, develops, tests and validates new and existing Taleo functionality, including reports, as defined by client
  • Provides training on functionality and report development within Taleo
  • Supports of end user testing and defect resolution

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in implementation and customization in complex organizations
  • Experience with Taleo and Taleo Client Connect
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies
  • Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organization skills and problem-solving skills
  • Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Quickly pick up new tools and technologies
  • Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Effectively move forward on tasks even with ambiguous or changing requirements

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time 
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote location or hybrid from a location near one of our Corporate offices.

[$104,300-$125]. This salary range is specific to Colorado, New York, California, and Washington, and may differ in other locations. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
