Responsibilities / Position overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic recruiter to join our global Talent Acquisition team to lead the recruitment efforts for their designated business areas. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified talent for the organization. As a Senior TA Partner, you will work closely with hiring managers and serve as a partner and advisor to understand their recruitment needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and manage the full life cycle recruitment process from sourcing and screening, to offer management and hiring.

 

Due to our global operations the ideal candidate will be US east coast based and in EST time zone.

 

  • Take ownership of the talent acquisition process which includes implementing the Advisory model, including full life cycle recruitment, by maintaining a continuous recruiting model to find the best talent for the organization  
  • Act as the Recruitment Business Partner to facilitate all recruitment meetings, provide necessary reporting and activity visibility, and to ensure overall delivery to your business areas
  • Leverage various channels and platforms to engage potential and existing talent and build proactive talent pipelines 
  • Oversee and execute the long-term operational strategy, methodology, and management of Talent Acquisition 
  • Partner with Hiring Leaders and HR to manage workforce planning and talent organizational design and make recommendations 
  • Provide active sourcing of candidates consistent with defined business needs and culture 
  • Work with hiring managers and provide advice throughout the full lifecycle recruitment process, including effective interviewing methods and pay recommendations
  • Help propel diverse recruitment efforts forward for the organization, consistent with organizational goals 
  • Continue to promote a Company recruitment brand, keeping job boards, websites and social media updated with all current vacancy information 
  • Act as a resource within and across HR groups in support of special projects and cross-functional initiatives 
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate screenings, and coordinate effective interviews to assess fit for the role and business
  • Manage the candidate experience, ensuring a positive and engaging experience throughout the recruiting and hiring process
  • Maintain compliance and awareness of current and changing laws pertaining to Human Resources​ and talent acquisition

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of direct sourcing and recruitment experience in the life sciences/pharma/biotech industry
  • Extensive experience in full lifecycle recruitment
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal and external customers in a positive, cooperative and professional manner at all times 
  • Demonstrates discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment  
  • Act as a self-motivated driver that proactively finds ways to get ahead of business needs 
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations and training and development 
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes and expectations
