What you will do :
As an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner you will work within the Talent Acquisition Center Of Excellence. The TA COE is responsible for all hires in North America, across all business units and corporate, and at all levels. In this role you will function as an advisor to hiring leaders and human resources within an assigned business unit.
How you will do it:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner role is a trusted subject matter expert. You will be tasked with providing data driven insights and execute hiring strategies for both internal and external talent labor markets. We’re a forward-looking team, leaning on relationships and fueled by data. We are positioned to make a dramatic impact on the culture at Johnson Controls, by influencing hires with quality, diversity, speed, and cost.
You will report to a Talent Acquisition Manager and are responsible for the recruitment for a business group. To deliver on this objective, you prioritize the urgency and importance of your requisition load and build pipelines of qualified candidates for critical roles. You also work closely with your manager, hiring managers, and HR business partners to develop and execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow that meets diversity and our overall recruiting goals. Our team of recruiters are also active in TA oriented projects that continue to improve our service offerings to the businesses we support.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a disciplined focus on your customers, executing attention to their needs. You will use insights gained through relationships to anticipate future needs and consistently add value for the customer.
Carries out day-to-day talent acquisition efforts for highly complex, unique and dissimilar positions and leadership level recruitment across several functions and business groups.
Facilitate and partner with Hiring Teams on recruitment/sourcing strategy discussions and validating position requirements
Develop and execute robust recruitment strategies that result in faster time to fill metrics and quality hires.
Provide consultative feedback and direction about external labor market conditions, candidate needs, and sourcing and candidate selection strategy.
Participate and/or lead in regular cadence/accountability calls with business.
Understand and execute talent acquisition process, and meet service-level agreement expectations
Participate and/or lead in functional projects to optimize TA Process and results.
Educate yourself on your functional business responsibility, and identify and engage key relationships
Set expectations and good communication habits with customers
Leverage sourcing tools provided
Establish yourself as a brand ambassador for Johnson Controls
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesWhat we look for:
Required
University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
6 years minimum experience in recruitment; substantial experience in a corporate talent acquisition environment
Competence in developing and executing candidate sourcing strategies
Knowledge of recruiting & staffing laws & strong process-oriented mindset
Technology aptitude - experience with Workday (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter, and other direct sourcing tools
Strong understanding of the Boolean search language, and how those search principles apply to both internet and database searches
