Johnson Controls is a global leader in smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings. We are hiring two Senior Talent Acquisition Partners to support Silent Aire and our North America hiring strategy: Senior TA Partner โ€“ Business-Facing Recruiter and Senior TA Partner โ€“ Candidate-Facing Recruiter.

What You Will Do

These roles do not manage full-cycle recruiting. Each focuses on a specialized area of the talent acquisition process to support hiring excellence.

Senior TA Partner โ€“ Business-Facing Recruiter

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure alignment with business needs

  • Guide interview teams through structured, competency-based interview practices

  • Coach hiring managers on evaluation best practices, talent assessment, and decision-making

  • Review candidate slates and ensure alignment to skill and workforce needs

  • Use Power BI and recruiting metrics to provide insights and influence hiring outcomes

  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and act as a strategic talent advisor

  • Leverage AI tools for job description refinement and workflow efficiencies

  • Mentor and coach Talent Acquisition Partners to strengthen team capability

Senior TA Partner โ€“ Candidate-Facing Recruiter

  • Manage top-of-funnel recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, and pipeline development

  • Conduct proactive sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networks, referrals, and talent communities

  • Assess candidate qualifications using consistent evaluation practices

  • Prepare candidates for interviews and communicate JCI culture and values

  • Deliver high-touch, consistent communication throughout the interview process

  • Support offer preparation and negotiation strategy in partnership with the Business-Facing Recruiter

  • Maintain accurate candidate documentation within Workday

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring a positive candidate experience

What We Look For

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition with emphasis on partnership and candidate engagement

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage talent data and market insights

  • Experience with Workday or similar ATS tools

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in high-volume or manufacturing recruiting is a plus

  • Demonstrated coaching and mentorship capability

  • Proven ability to act as a strategic talent advisor, improving processes and offering market insights

  • Experience influencing sourcing strategies and strengthening talent pipelines

Both roles begin onsite during training with an opportunity to transition to hybrid.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $91,000-$114,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
