Your New Role
The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will report to the Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition & Attraction.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for the hands-on delivery of high-quality recruitment advice and end-to-end recruitment services that meet and exceed business requirements and candidate experience expectations.
This involves establishing excellent working relationships with the Fund’s leadership group, other areas of Colleagues and Culture, and a range of external stakeholders.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment for roles across Australia, aligned to the broader Recruitment strategy.
Proactively talent map and build pipelines for future and critical hires, maintaining up‑to‑date talent intelligence.
Partner with the Recruitment team to evolve and embed a consistent, best‑practice recruitment process, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing.
Manage external recruitment partners and resourcing channels with a strong commercial and performance focus.
Support and embed the Fund’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy through local market expertise and inclusive hiring practices.
Successfully manage high‑volume recruitment portfolios, balancing speed, quality, and stakeholder experience.
What You’ll Need
Demonstrated commitment to AustralianSuper’s purpose and values, with the ability to role‑model these in day‑to‑day recruitment practices.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience within a high‑performing, in‑house recruitment function, ideally supporting complex or enterprise environments.
Proven experience applying talent research and market intelligence methodologies to inform proactive sourcing and workforce planning.
Highly developed relationship‑building capability, with the confidence to influence and partner effectively with a broad and senior stakeholder group.
Strong end‑to‑end recruitment expertise, including direct sourcing, candidate screening, assessment, and interview management (including technical and presentation‑based interviews where required).
High levels of initiative, adaptability and resilience, with the ability to work.autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Prior experience delivering high‑volume contact centre recruitment outcomes.
