Sr. Talent Acquisition Associate - ICX
Overview:
We're seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist specializing in technical recruiting for mission-critical facilities, including data centers, critical infrastructure, and advanced engineering projects. You will manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, sourcing high-quality professionals skilled in commissioning, electrical and mechanical engineering, power distribution, cooling/HVAC, automation, and controls.
This position plays a vital role in supporting the talent acquisition process by providing administrative and logistical support, as well as actively participating in sourcing qualified candidates. This position ensures smooth and efficient candidate experience, from initial contact through onboarding. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ advanced sourcing methods:
- Proactively source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques and tools
- Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment initiatives.
- Help to maintain and improve recruitment processes. Utilize Boolean search techniques and other sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of potential candidates, actively engaging with passive talent.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, and conduct initial outreach to potential candidates.
- Identify and engage passive talent experienced in data center commissioning, MEP coordination, electrical systems, HVAC cooling systems, BMS/EMS controls, mission-critical automation, and facility certification.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and business stakeholders, aligning recruitment strategy with organizational goals.
- Enhance candidate experience through proactive communication, structured interviews, and efficient recruitment processes.
- Schedule interviews (phone and virtual) with candidates and hiring managers, managing complex calendars and time zones.
- Manage interview logistics, prepare interview materials, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Respond to candidate inquiries and provide updates on application status.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing clear and accurate information.
- Proactively source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking events, and direct outreach, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques and tools
- Participate in career fairs and recruitment events as needed. Up to 30% travel per year for peak seasons.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- 2+ years of technical recruitment experience within data centers, mission-critical environments, or critical infrastructure services.
- Proven expertise recruiting talent from firms specializing in commissioning, engineering, and QA/QC.
- Extensive experience recruiting for roles in commissioning (CxA, QCxP), electrical engineering (PE, EE), mechanical engineering (MEP, HVAC), automation systems, and quality assurance/control.
- Demonstrable experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, Boolean logic, and talent intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with industry certifications and terminologies such as CxA, PE, PMP, Uptime Institute Standards, NFPA standards, LEED certifications, and ASHRAE guidelines.
- Comfortable and effective in a fully remote environment.
- Experience implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Understanding of talent market trends and ability to identify potential talent pools.
- Experience in building and maintaining candidate pipelines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency with recruitment technologies and ATS platforms. (ADP experience preferred)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously.
