You will develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all levels of the organisation, playing a critical role in workforce planning and creating talent pipelines.

Role Highlights
Reporting into the General Manager of People and Culture, you will develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
You will be responsible for the end to end hiring of employees, including sourcing candidates, optimising candidate and hiring manager experiences, enabling seamless onboarding and driving strong stakeholder engagement. You will also be hands-on in the hiring of senior leaders/critical roles.
You will play a crucial, strategic role in transforming talent acquisition into a proactive strategy to ensure Fremantle Ports has the right people with the necessary skills at the right time and will partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create effective hiring plans.
In this diverse role, your responsibilities will also include: sourcing talent pipelines, managing employer branding initiatives and candidate experience strategies, driving diversity and inclusion and leading-edge practices, analysing recruitment metrics and implementing continuous improvement, tracking market recruitment trends, managing relationships with agencies and external partners, and driving process efficiency and best practice outcomes including the optimisation of technology.

Qualifications and Experience
A background in human resources or business is essential, supported by substantial experience in talent acquisition.
A degree in HR, business administration, or a related discipline is also required.
Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment and talent strategy.
Experience managing in-house recruitment teams or projects.
Knowledge of employment legislation and hiring/contract compliance.
Experience developing and executing workforce planning and sourcing strategies.
Experience partnering with HR, business leaders, and external vendors or providers.
Technical, Professional and Specialist Skills
The ability to align recruitment efforts with overall business objectives.
Skills to guide, motivate, and develop a recruitment team and implement best practices.
Effective communication with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, ability to build talent networks and enhance employer brand positioning.
Expertise in recruitment technologies and professional networking platforms and analytics.
Ability to negotiate offers to attract and secure top talent.
Strong understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion in recruitment practices.
