Position Overview

As Civeo grows, so does the people requirement to drive our business forward! An exciting opportunity exists during this period to join our People & Culture team in a short-term capacity for a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist who loves a fast-paced, high energy, non-stop environment.

As part of a dedicated and collaborative Talent Team, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from proactive sourcing through to offer management — while building strong talent pipelines for current and future needs. Play a key role in ensuring compliance and job site readiness for remote workforces, ensuring a positive candidate & new-starter experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment efforts across multiple mining regions.
  • Schedule and coordinate recruitment activities, advertising and candidate sourcing.
  • Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process.
  • Conduct initial phone screening and facilitate assessments and interviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding for staff across remote Australian mining sites.
  • Collect and verify pre-employment documentation.
  • Maintain recruitment databases and track key metrics.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Manage shared inboxes and induction bookings.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a high-volume recruitment or Talent Acquisition role
  • Talent Acquisition experience within the hospitality sector will be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems 

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Copilot & other AI-powered tools.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
