Position Summary:
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the talent acquisition team, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates in compliance with GWH policies and federal and state laws. Ensures the talent acquisition team develops recruitment strategies and an efficient hiring process to meet organizational needs.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hiring District Managers and Store Managers to identify employment needs and ensure accurate job postings and personnel request forms and vacancy reports.
  • Collaborate with Director of Talent Management to develop and implement recruitment strategies, utilizing both traditional and creative methods to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, resume screening, candidate interview process, and hiring process.
  • Ensure timely and effective hiring by managing vacancy reports, tracking open requisitions, and monitoring turnover.
  • Ensure the new hire process including orientation, new hire paperwork and enrollment process is completed to standard and proper procedures are followed.
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of talent professionals, ensuring performance, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary action, as necessary.
  • Review and analyze the daily, interview, and vacancy reports for key hiring metrics, such as vacancy rates and time-to-hire, to improve processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and data entry for staffing-related records in compliance with GWH policies.
  • Ensure all documents, trackers, and forms are properly filed in Paycor, IMIGIT, and SharePoint.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives by analyzing trends and making recommendations for process improvements to the Director of Talent Management
  • Ensure all staffing activities comply with legal requirements and GWH policies.
  • Review staffing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure alignment of all staffing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with organizational goals. (SOPs) and a staffing playbook to guide best practices.
  • Organize and participate in job fairs, hiring events, and other recruitment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners and workforce organizations, to support hiring needs.
  • Manage DGR and in-house relationships related to staffing services and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Provide regular status reports to management and complete assigned project-based tasks as needed.
  • Must have the ability to manage the team and be able to cover everyday Talent Acquisition tasks.
  • Ability to perform all duties as a Talent Acquisition Specialist performs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
  1. Appropriate staffing and distribution levels for the talent acquisition team per area of operation.
  2. Timely and accurate progress reports of hiring, vacancy numbers, compliance, and outcomes
  3. Ensure all talent acquisition specialists accurately complete daily, weekly, and monthly staffing trackers in SharePoint.
  4. Customer Survey Questionnaire Score vs actual score of 4.0<.
  5. 30/60/90-day Turnover rate vs LY.
  6. Integrity of pre-screening, internal recruitment, and external staffing process.
  7. Follow all Hire Process procedures.
  8. Assist Management in project-based assignments.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience is preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the recruiting field.
  • Experience in management is preferred.
  • Additional coursework in HR is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in hiring for retail, manufacturing, or equivalent positions.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other sourcing, screening, and tracking databases.
  • Experience with Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
  • Knowledge of the full cycle hiring process.
  • Experience with multiple job boards and other talent-sourcing avenues.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
