Position Summary
At Metrea we’re on a mission to build a world-class Talent Acquisition team, made up of 3 pillars - Aviation, Support and Technical roles. This is a new roles to lead our support function which is focused on all the incredible teams that support the wider enterprise, such as LCC, People, Finance etc.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership capacity—balancing strategy and execution, rolling up their sleeves to source and close talent while guiding a team toward recruiting excellence. Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute a full-scale, global recruiting strategy to attract top talent acrossMetrea’senterprise support functions — includingPeople, LCC, Finance, Ops, Market DevelopmentandEngagement.
- Be aplayer-coach.Lead directly and indirectly by example, balancing hands-on recruiting delivery with strategic talent initiatives that strengthenMetrea’sworkforce capability and global footprint.
- Partner withenterprise PeopleLeaders, wider People Teamand hiring managers across domains to deeply understand operational requirements, workforce plans, andorganizationalpriorities — translating these into proactive recruitment strategies.
- Exemplify disciplined sourcing and talent pipelining practices.Build andmaintaindiverse, high-quality candidate pipelines for critical enterprise roles,anticipatingfuture business needs and skill demands.
- Champion a world-class candidate experience.Engage and nurture candidates with empathy, clarity, and authenticity, ensuring every interaction reflectsMetrea’smission, culture, and values.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and industry expert.Use market intelligence and research toidentifykey talent pools,monitorindustryandlabourtrends, and inform workforce planning decisions.
- Collaborate across global teamsto align recruitment processes, systems, and messaging — ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance acrossjurisdictions.
- Drive continuous improvementin recruiting operations, data analytics, and employer branding, supportingMetrea’sreputation as a mission-focused, high-performanceorganisation.
Skills and Experience

- Previous experienceas aTalentLead or Manageringlobalhighlydynamically-hierarchical business (defenseexperience a plus).
- Abilityto teach andleveragesourcing tools, techniques, and platforms to identify and attract top talent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, credibility, and influence stakeholders and candidates alike.
- Familiarity with a wide range ofdomain-specifictalent markets, including key talent pools and industry trends.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced complex environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across different teams and time zones.
