CAMBA’s Human Resources (HR) Department manages all aspects of human resources functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, policies & procedures, training & development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, medical leaves, reasonable accommodations, and human resources information systems.
What The Talent Acquisition Specialist Does:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will execute recruitment plans that enable CAMBA to attract and engage candidates with specific skills, experiences, and perspectives to be a thriving addition to the CAMBA team. This includes providing visible and proactive talent acquisition services for all positions within the organization, managing the talent pipeline, and implementing and streamlining procedures to optimize recruitment strategies. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of the CAMBA.
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Recruit, screen, and interview potential candidates across multiple levels and roles.
- Work with supervisors and department heads to ensure that job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and that candidates are evaluated against appropriate criteria to make candidate determinations.
- Promote and support the efforts to brand the organization as an employer of choice and a great place to work.
- Utilize multiple recruitment sources and tools to engage both active and passive job seekers.
- Work with a variety of sources, both external and internal to source best candidates for open positions.
- Attend career fairs and maintain relationships with schools, community resources and technical schools.
- Build and foster relationships with career partners to create candidate pipelines.
- Develop screening assessments and recommend screening tools to improve hiring practices.
- Source and screen applicants, including conducting interviews, and recommend candidates for further hiring consideration.
Policies, Procedures & Compliance
- Ensure that recruitment methods comply with local, state, federal laws and regulations and that required reporting mechanisms are followed.
- Complete surveys and reports related to recruitment and hiring practices.
Other duties
- Maximize the utilization of technology and implement technology in the recruitment function, as necessary and appropriate.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation, Licenses and/or Certifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or related field
Minimum Experiences and Skills Required:
- Two years of recruitment experience and/or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Computer literacy in other Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems & Applicant Tracking System.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability adapt in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Networking capabilities

- Non-profit experience
- High volume recruiting experience
