We supply quality products to our customers with an unparalleled commitment to service.  Our company is growing, and we have an immediate opening for a full-time Human Resources Generalist: Talent Acquisition / Employee Engagement / Organizational Development.  

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the selected individual will perform a variety of primary responsibilities for our various locations in the following disciplines: talent acquisition / sourcing / recruitment, onboarding & offboarding, employee relations & engagement, learning & organizational development.  In addition, he/she will serve as back-up support for payroll processing and support other special projects and/or perform other related duties as assigned or needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Develops cost effective and creative talent acquisition and sourcing strategies to ensure the company always maintains a healthy and viable pipeline of well qualified applicants to the business.
•    Develops university and college relationships to attract entry-level talent to the company, attends with prior approval from manager, job fairs and/or college recruitment events.
•    Directly supports the company’s interview process ensuring full compliance with all company stated protocols and requirements.
•    Conducts week 1- and 90-day human resources new hire check-ins and reports feedback to management.   
•    Is primarily responsible to coordinate and facilitate the company’s human resources new employee orientation program ensuring a warm and comprehensive welcome to all our new people.
•    Engages directly with managers and employees on sensitive and sometimes complex employee relations matters ensuring the business is limited in terms of risk and exposure.
•    Supports learning & organizational development programs & initiatives which will help drive further employee engagement in the business, including supporting all performance management and SMART goal setting activities and deliverables.
•    Conduct training with managers and employees on a variety of topics including but not limited to performance management, SMART goal setting, talent acquisition / effective and legal interviewing requirements.
•    Ensure all new hire and separation paperwork is administered correctly for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and in accordance with company branded communication protocols, for example new hire announcements and separations.
•    Will conduct human resources employee exit interviews and report feedback to management.
•    Will serve as payroll processing and administration back-up support.  
•    May assist as needed with compensation and benefits and/or other human resources compliance related responsibilities as needed.  
•    Will support and actively participate in special projects and/or perform other related duties as assigned or needed. 
•    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel:

This role will be based at our Hatfield, PA manufacturing site and will be required to travel to our Eatontown, NJ location approximately 1 day / week.  Additional travel may also include visits to our corporate office in Massachusetts.  Some remote work flexibility will be granted upon prior approval by Human Resources Manager. 

Qualifications / Education / Experience:

•    Bachelor’s degree in psychology, communication or related major/field.
•    Six to eight years directly related human resources experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and organizational development.
•    SHRM certification ideal but not required.
•    Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations and compliance a must, for example Pay Equity and Transparency. 
•    Proven competency addressing complex and sensitive employee relations matters using sound judgement with integrity in the absence of bias and/or conflict of interest.  
•    Experience supporting manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
•    Ability to analyze data to identify trends or patterns and prepare confidential reports and business correspondence a must. 
•    Excellent attention to detail.
•    Ability to take initiative and offer creative ideas to programs and services.
•    Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office products namely Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. 
•    Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
•    Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines on time.
