Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team, supporting approximately 350 corporate employees within a large healthcare organization. This role will be responsible for managing payroll administration, auditing and timekeeping, and driving talent acquisition initiatives for corporate positions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in payroll systems, compliance knowledge, and proven experience in full-cycle recruitment.
Payroll Administration & Timekeeping
- Collaborate with Finance to process weekly payroll for corporate employees accurately and on time
- Audit weekly timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Resolve missed punches and work with managers to ensure proper corrections
- Manage final pay processing and timekeeping for offboarding employees
- Maintain payroll records and employee data, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, accruals, and payroll discrepancies
- Manage payroll-related reporting, audits, and reconciliations
Talent Acquisition
- Partner with department leaders to define hiring needs for corporate positions
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, referrals, and job boards
- Ensure a positive candidate experience with timely communication throughout the process
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives to attract top talent
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 2+ years of combined experience in payroll administration, timekeeping, and talent acquisition
- Proficiency with payroll, timekeeping, and applicant tracking systems; prior experience with Viventium, Swipeclock, and BambooHR is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $60,000–$75,000 depending on experience.
