JOB SUMMARY: 

The Doctor Recruiter is responsible for managing and coordinating organization-wide efforts for doctor recruiting and project management (PM) in addition to being a strategic partner to the doctors, practice teams, and other stakeholders.  The position will be responsible for sourcing doctors, and managing doctor candidates through the recruitment process in coordination with key stakeholders.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Fills doctor roles. (Oral Surgeons)
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  • Collaborates with hiring team to understand the needs to be filled, and reviews job descriptions as appropriate. 
  • Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected openings. 
  • Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting doctor candidates. 
  • Drafts recruitment advertisements: posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions. 
  • Selects one or more placement agencies to assist with the recruitment process. 
  • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications by reviewing their resumes, CVs, interviews, and other forms of communication. 
  • Connects qualified candidates with the hiring team. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • A high school diploma is required. Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus. 
  • Five years of recruiting experience are preferred. 
  • Technical or Healthcare recruiting experience is a plus.
