This is not a traditional Talent Acquisition leadership role.
Collibra is looking for an experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our global Talent Acquisition function.
Collibra sits at the intersection of two of the most consequential shifts in enterprise technology: the rapid adoption of AI and the governance required to make it trustworthy at scale. As the leader in data and AI governance, we are building the team that will define our next chapter of growth.
As AI fundamentally reshapes how talent is identified, engaged, assessed, and hired. We are looking for a leader with a clear point of view on how Talent Acquisition should operate in an AI-native environment and the ability to turn that vision into execution.
This is a hybrid role based in our New York, NY or Raleigh, NC office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.
The Director of Talent Acquisition at Collibra is responsible for
- Setting and evolving Collibra’s global talent acquisition strategy in alignment with business priorities and growth plans
- Redesigning how Talent Acquisition operates in an AI-native environment, using automation and AI to improve sourcing, screening, pipeline management, and recruiter productivity
- Partnering directly with senior leaders to translate workforce plans into proactive hiring strategies and talent pipelines
- Leading, developing, and scaling a high-performing Talent Acquisition team that operates as strategic business partners
- Building recruiting operating rhythms, reporting, and market intelligence that provide clear visibility into pipeline health, hiring performance, and talent market dynamics
- Driving hiring excellence across candidate quality, speed, process effectiveness, and candidate experience
- Partnering closely cross-functionally with Employer Brand, hiring managers, and employees to strengthen Collibra’s position as a compelling destination for top talent
- Evaluating and governing recruiting technology and AI capabilities with rigor, balancing innovation, effectiveness, and risk
- Ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion is a seamlessly integrated into the candidate’s experience
You have
- 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including leadership experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment
- Experience hiring across both go-to-market and technical organizations, with credibility in commercial and specialized technical hiring
- A track record of building or significantly transforming Talent Acquisition teams, operating models, or recruiting strategies
- Experience implementing AI-powered recruiting tools, automation, and modern Talent Acquisition workflows using Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc to solve real-world business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows.
- Experience designing or overhauling a TA operating model, including building AI fluency assessment into the hiring process
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to use data, market intelligence, and business insight to influence decision-making
- Experience building hiring strategies in competitive talent markets where employer brand and candidate experience materially impact outcomes
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required

Measures of success
- Within your first two weeks, you have met every key hiring manager, reviewed all open roles, and have a clear point of view on where the biggest gaps and opportunities are
- Within your first month, you are actively recruiting on priority roles, have identified at least one AI tool or workflow change to implement, and have presented a TA operating model to the VP of Experience and Communications
- Within 60 days, you have made at least one hire, shipped at least one meaningful workflow improvement, and the team is operating against a clear set of performance metrics
- Within 90 days, the new TA operating model is live, AI fluency assessment is embedded into interviews across at least two functions, and you can show measurable improvement in pipeline quality or speed-to-hire
Compensation for this role
The standard base salary range for this position is $184,000 - $210,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
