Assist with implementation of a comprehensive university recruitment strategy to attract talented individuals from universities and colleges
Build and maintain strong relationships with career services offices, faculty members, and student organizations at target schools to increase our firm's visibility and access to potential candidates
Plan and coordinate university recruitment events, including career fairs, information sessions, and networking events, to promote our firm and engage with prospective candidates
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and requirements for internship and entry-level positions
Conduct presentations and workshops at universities to educate students about our firm, career opportunities, and the accounting profession
Screen resumes and applications from university candidates and conduct initial interviews to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, including scheduling interviews with hiring managers, conducting follow-ups, and providing feedback to candidates
Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, addressing their inquiries and ensuring a positive candidate experience
Collaborate with the HR team to onboard and integrate new university hires into the organization
Stay updated on university recruitment trends, best practices, and industry changes to continuously improve our university recruitment strategies
Track and analyze recruitment metrics and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of university recruitment initiatives
Maintain relationships with past interns and alumni to foster a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs
Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time

Travel required
Frequent travel to university locations and events with some overnight stays is expected
Required education and experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
Preferred education and experience
Experience in professional service environment, such as a CPA firm, financial consulting firm, or similar setting
Advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft office products
Basic knowledge of university talent acquisition software tools
