About the role:

Vistar Media has created a 9-week program where students will gain hands-on working experience and knowledge about the advertising technology landscape, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with different departments within Vistar’s organization. We’re looking for college students who are passionate and eager about the innovative media industry.

Our summer interns will work 3 days per week for the duration of the internship program and will be expected to be in the office twice a week (Tuesday and Wednesday). The internship will run from June 9th until August 13th. The internship is a paid opportunity with a competitive hourly rate. 

The core focus of the Talent Acquisition internship is to support our technical recruiting team while learning the ins and outs of talent acquisition at an innovative and vastly growing technology company! 

Applications are due by 4/9. Please note, we do not provide relocation assistance and you must be able to work in the Philadelphia office.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Technical Recruiter with various projects such as applicant review, sourcing, and research

  • Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives such as employer branding

  • Own multiple enhancement projects within Vistar Media’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Learn extensively about the full cycle recruitment process and join meetings with technical leadership at management and VP-level

  • Support candidate experience by assisting with scheduling phone screens and candidate communication 

  • Ad hoc human resources tasks

  • Learn about technical skill-sets and qualifications for roles in Software Engineering and Product Management

  • Own projects that identify and source technical candidates

  • Implement creative strategies to engage and attract technical candidates 

Who you are: 

  • Rising junior or senior working towards an undergraduate degree

  • Previous work experience via an internship, retail/service/campus job, or leadership position in an extracurricular activity 

  • Enthusiastic about Talent Acquisition and Human Resources

  • A self-starter who is proactive, organized, and has high attention to detail

  • Familiar with Google Suite
