  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent;
  • 2 years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment role;
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn and various other candidate databases;
  • Experience with targeted selection interview methods;
  • Sound knowledge of market trends and best practices;
  • Integrity and confidentiality.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule\: 5/2 schedule (Monday to Friday); a combination of tele-working with presence at our offices in either Val-d’Or, QC, Rouyn-Noranda, QC, Mirabel, QC, Timmins, ON, Sudbury ON or Toronto, ON. Occasionnal visits to site may be required.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Superintendent, you will play a key role in recruiting the best talent for our Canadian divisions by employing proactive sourcing strategies and resources, developing new, creative recruiting ideas as well as being part of a dynamic and supportive recruitment team. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, supporting departments in their hiring needs for hourly positions and ensuring the hiring process standards are followed for all candidates;
  • Follow the recruitment screening process to identify the best potential candidates;
  • Recruit, source and present qualified candidates to the hiring managers;
  • Liaise with candidates and hiring managers during all stages of the recruitment process;
  • Lead interviews by using the targeted selection method interviewing system;
  • Ensure a smooth transition from the selection process to pre-employment verifications to the onboarding stage of new employees;
  • Ensure proper follow-ups with stakeholders throughout the recruitment process;
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, etc.;
  • Represent the company and participate in career fairs as required.
