Cyclic Materials™ is building a resilient circular supply chain for rare earth elements and other critical materials. Through our proprietary MagCycle℠ and REEPure℠ processes, we recover rare earths from end-of-life products and transform them into high purity materials used in the production of permanent magnets. These materials are critical to the modern economy, including the production of electric vehicles, electronics, AI infrastructure, wind turbines, defense, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Founded in 2021, Cyclic Materials has rapidly progressed from technology development to commercialization. We currently operate facilities in Ontario and Arizona, with a new expansion underway in South Carolina. Backed by US$75 million in Series C financing led by T. Rowe Price, alongside strategic investors including Microsoft, Amazon, Hitachi Ventures, BMW i Ventures, Jaguar Land Rover’s InMotion fund, Energy Impact Partners, ArcTern Ventures, and Fifth Wall, we are scaling to meet growing global demand for a secure and sustainable rare earth supply.

We have established commercial partnerships with global industry leaders such as Solvay, Vattenfall, Lime, and VACUUMSCHMELZE, enabling the deployment of recycled rare earth materials into real world supply chains. In 2025, Cyclic Materials was named one of the Top 10 Climate Tech Companies to Watch by MIT Technology Review.

We are growing quickly and building the industrial backbone required for a circular rare earth economy. Joining Cyclic Materials means working on complex and exciting challenges at scale, alongside a team committed to executing and delivering measurable impact. If you are motivated by building critical infrastructure and advancing the circular economy, join us and help accelerate the growth of rare earth recycling.

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) manages full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing plant roles (hourly and salaried) and corporate roles across North America. As the company grows, this role will help expand recruiting efforts to additional regions, including Europe and Asia. As part of the HR team, this role partners with Plant Leadership, and Corporate functional leaders, to deliver hiring plans that support plant operations and business growth—while ensuring an excellent candidate experience and compliant, scalable hiring processes.

Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting (Plant + Corporate)

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for plant positions (e.g., operators, maintenance, warehouse, supervisors) and corporate roles (e.g., finance, supply chain, engineering, sales/BD, project management etc).
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, competencies, interview plans, and hiring timelines.
  • Manage requisitions from approval to close: posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer, and start-date coordination.

North America Focus + Future Global Expansion

  • Deliver recruiting for North America sites and teams, aligned with regional labor markets, shift structures, and local hiring requirements.
  • Contribute to scalable processes that can extend to Europe and Asia as new facilities and corporate teams are established (e.g., interview playbooks, scorecards, templates, and consistent ATS practices).
  • Partner with People/HR leadership to support cross-region hiring needs, including coordination across time zones and local requirements as expansion occurs.

Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Develop sourcing strategies for high-volume manufacturing roles and specialized corporate roles using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, direct outreach, talent communities, and local partnerships (trade schools, universities, workforce agencies).
  • Create role-specific outreach messaging and campaigns; proactively map target companies and talent pools for recurring/hard-to-fill positions.
  • Plan and execute hiring events for plant hiring (open houses, job fairs, on-site interview days) and targeted sourcing for corporate roles.

Screening, Interviewing & Selection

  • Conduct structured phone/virtual screenings and coordinate interview panels (on-site and virtual) aligned to role level.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on market conditions, compensation alignment, leveling, and best practices for equitable, consistent selection

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house and/or agency), including a mix of hourly and salaried hiring.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting in manufacturing/industrial environments and professional corporate roles.
