Pure Power Engineering is seeking a charismatic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent team to continue to bring top talent to the company. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will undertake all hiring activities, from sourcing and advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires. Additionally, they will assist in developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified experienced and entry-level talent for the company. This position provides a tremendous opportunity for development in a rapidly growing solar power industry and work collaboratively and cooperatively with various hiring managers. This employee will play a key role in enhancing our candidate experience, all while assisting to grow and develop our Talent department.

As a full-service engineering firm, we create the electrical and structural drawings and calculation packages for bidding, permits and construction, as well as supporting the lead up to the full engineering drawings, primarily interconnection support and electrical/structural feasibility studies.

Responsibilities
As a starting point, the Recruiting Specialist will be required to gain a full understanding of the vision, values, and direction of the Pure Power strategy and culture. Then responsibilities shall include:
Recruiting
- Manage the full cycle recruiting for experienced and entry-level candidates, including sourcing, resume review, phone screens, interview set-up and closing prospective candidates.
- Owns all campus recruiting functions and university relationships.
- Formulate detailed job descriptions with the help of hiring managers.
- Respond to applicant inquiries and referrals.
- Ensures the highest-level of candidate care and communication with prospective candidates.
- Maintain recruiting functions within our ATS system.
- Extend offer letters verbally and in the system and lead offer negotiations.
- Own the candidate care from offer acceptance through orientation.
- Work closely with the Director of Talent on campus recruiting and entry-level recruiting to ensure events and campus initiatives are set-up and running smoothly.
- Continue to promote our culture of Diversity & Inclusion.
Sourcing
- Create and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.
- Utilize social media, cold calling, and other creative sources to engage active and passive candidates
- Maintain and nurture a database and pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings.
- Promote our Company Brand when reaching out to candidates on various platforms.
Talent Acquisition & Strategy
- Collect and compile data to prepare appropriate Talent reports for leadership.
- Partner with Leadership to determine hiring needs and prioritization.
- Continually educate key leaders and other internal stakeholders on experienced recruitment strategies and market intelligence.
- Maintain the marketing and advertising of our open roles.
- Assists in making recommendations for process improvement to further drive results and solutions across the company.

- Continually add value to the organization beyond your day-to-day tasks.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as a Recruiter, Sourcer or Talent Acquisition Specialist with a track record of employee placement.
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, or similar roles.
- Prior experience with full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience within an Applicant Tracking System or recruiting system.
- Proven proficiency leveraging social media for candidate engagement
- Strong negotiation skills when discussing terms and conditions of employment.
- Experience working with leadership on candidate and offer decisions.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask and work on multiple openings at a time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience working with entry-level or campus recruitment.
- Experience working in the professional service, engineering, or solar industry.
- Prior experience in a small or mid-level organization.
Location
This position will be based out of our exciting downtown Hoboken, NJ Headquarters with the flexibility to work a hybrid in-office and remote weekly schedule. We are next to public transportation options from NYC and Northern NJ. We also provide a parking spot for the days when an employee wishes to drive to the office and for those that utilize public transportation, we will cover the costs associated with traveling to and from the office.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range
$70,000-$90,000 Annually
