PROFILE SUMMARY Our People & Culture team plays a critical role in shaping Wesgroup’s vision by attracting exceptional talent who share our values and passion for innovation. To further this goal, we are actively seeking a highly engaged, driven, and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you love connecting people with opportunities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Full-Cycle Recruitment  Collaborate with hiring managers (HMs) to create tailored hiring plans and sourcing strategies for each role. Deploy innovative recruiting methods to attract top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Guide HMs through Wesgroup’s recruitment process, including:  Crafting compelling job postings Sourcing and screening candidates Conducting pre-screen interviews and assessments Participating in interviews with HMs to promote HM skill development (as required) Coordinating interviews (in-person or virtual) Negotiating and executing offers Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Dayforce). Assess candidate skills, competencies, and cultural fit for long-term success. Analyze recruitment metrics and reporting to identify trends and optimize strategies. Continuously review, maintain, and enhance Talent Acquisition processes to ensure best practices remain intact and aligned with business needs. Stakeholder Partnership & Mentorship  Build strong relationships with HMs, department heads, and senior leadership. Provide market insights and functional expertise to support effective recruitment decisions. Mentor and guide other team members on recruitment best practices. Manage and oversee all external recruitment agency relationships.  Campus Recruitment  Develop hiring plans aligned with school programs and timelines. Build and maintain relationships with universities and colleges. Coordinate recruitment events and ensure team participation. Manage and enhance Wesgroup’s student hiring program, including tools and guidelines.  Talent Market Engagement  Act as a trusted advisor by proactively networking and building relationships with candidates and industry professionals. Stay ahead of market trends and maintain a strong presence in professional networks and associations.  QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE  5+ years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience with proven results. 3+ years in construction and/or real estate development. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources. Proficiency with ATS systems (Dayforce experience is a plus). Exceptional written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills. Expertise in behavioural and performance-based interviewing techniques. Skilled in passive sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles. Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.  EXPECTED COMPENSATION  Annual Base Salary: The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum.  Actual offered salary will depend on individual experience, qualifications, geographic location, market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
