Talent Acquisition Specialist (Technical)

About the Role

Seeking a dynamic Technical TA Specialist to join our growing team. You will be the strategic partner to our product and technology teams, thereby helping identify, attract, and hire top-tier technical talent. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our tech workforce and ensuring we stay ahead in a competitive talent market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and role requirements

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract candidates for roles including but not limited to engineers, data scientists, DevOps, cloud, etc.

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates using LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other platforms


  • Conduct initial technical assessments to evaluate candidate fit

  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process

  • Consistent achievement of TA OKRs (hiring volumes, quality, and timelines)

  • Track and report recruitment metrics to optimize hiring strategies

  • Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (technical background is a plus)

  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment

  • Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and terminology

  • Experience with ATS systems and sourcing tools.

  • Deployment of new-age AI tools and assessments in hiring

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with pleasing personality

  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities with agility

  • Experience recruiting for niche or senior-level technical roles

  • Familiarity with behavioral and competency-based interview techniques

  • Exposure to employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives on campuses, platforms, and social channels
