Role Description:

We are looking for a Talent Specialist to cover maternity leave of our Talent Partner. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that IMP continues to attract top talent, helping the company grow by bringing in talented people who are a great fit for our mission and culture.

You’ll source candidates using various tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Otta and job boards and conduct 1st stage screening interviews (30 mins) to determine if they would be a good fit from both a skillset and cultural perspective. The process will be tracked on our ATS (team tailor), and you will be responsible for candidate communication from initial outreach through to offer stage and contract generation. This role will be supported by our People officer and Head of People.

Key responsibilities:

  • Holding kick-off/calibration meetings with our hiring managers to develop a full understanding of expectations for a new vacancy.
  • Reviewing all applications for live roles and progressing candidates who have relevant experience.
  • Use Boolean search strings to source ideal candidate profiles for our live vacancies. We currently use Otta, LinkedIn and job boards for our sourcing.
  • Organise and conduct 1st stage interviews with candidates to discuss their experience and gauge their culture fit with IMP.
  • Monitor and update candidates’ progress through each stage of the interview process and provide timely feedback to all candidates both positive and negative.
  • Coordinate all following stages of the interview process
  • Managing the entire candidate lifecycle, from reach out/application through to offer and contract generation.

Skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Experience as a stand-alone talent person within a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable conducting interviews and gathering relevant information in an unstructured way.
  • Proficient in Boolean search strings for sourcing candidates, with specific experience in LinkedIn and Otta being a bonus.
  • Personable and open interviewing style.
  • Experience tracking candidate journeys through an ATS (we use Team Tailor).
  • Highly proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work autonomously. As this is a stand-alone role, it requires you to be a ‘go-getter’ to ensure you have all the information that you need.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple roles at different stages.
  • Experience with tech/B2B/SaaS recruitment is a huge plus

Benefits:

  • 27 days of holiday per year plus bank holidays
  • AXA Health insurance including dental and mental health
  • Broadband allowance
  • Home office stipend
  • Life assurance (4 x basic salary)
  • Encouraged and funded CPD

Please submit a cover letter with your application, outlining why this is the role for you and detailing the ATS and sourcing tool you currently use.
