Talent Acquisition Specialist

Lawelawe Management Group is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full-cycle recruitment process. From sourcing and screening to advising hiring managers and extending offers, you will ensure a smooth, compliant, and positive candidate experience while helping the organization attract and retain exceptional talent.

This is a consulting engagement. Work is structured around specific projects, with assignments that may range from short-term surge support to longer-term initiatives, depending on client requirements and needs.

What You’ll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end hiring process while building strong candidate pipelines and supporting managers through each stage of recruitment. You will source and attract talent through job postings, outreach, recruiting events, and networking. Once candidates are identified, you’ll review applications, conduct initial screenings, and leverage applicant tracking systems to ensure efficient and effective recruiting.

You will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, helping them prepare for interviews, comply with employment laws, and evaluate candidates fairly. You’ll coordinate all aspects of interviews, from scheduling to candidate communications, ensuring a smooth and professional process. When a hiring decision is made, you’ll collaborate with compensation teams to prepare and extend accurate, competitive job offers. Throughout, you’ll ensure both candidates and managers have a positive and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, recruiting fairs, networking, and direct outreach
• Screen candidates using ATS tools and interviews to assess qualifications
• Recommend top candidates to hiring managers and guide them through the hiring decision process
• Coordinate interviews, schedules, and logistics to ensure a seamless candidate experience
• Advise hiring managers on interview best practices and compliance with employment laws
• Collaborate with compensation and HR teams to prepare accurate and competitive job offers
• Ensure recruiting processes are consistent, efficient, and aligned with company policies

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. HR or recruiting certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter Certification) a plus
• Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or staffing agency roles
• Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies
• Experience sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates across various roles and levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
• Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations related to hiring
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple hiring managers simultaneously
• US Citizenship required
